If you haven't by now, you really should read Lev Grossman's article in Time about fan fiction and specifically Harry Potter fanfic: The Boy Who Lived Forever. Haven't been able to sleep much for a few weeks.  Mmm, insomnia.  Or rather, I haven't really been able to fall asleep while it's dark out which is fun.  It's like I'm working midnights again.  Without the getting paid part.  That part made it better.

I'm on page 266 of DH, and I'm pretty much completely enjoying the fact that I'm drawing this out as long as possible.  I haven't actually ever made myself do this with a Harry Potter book before which totally isn't a reflection on Deathly Hallows just me wanting to let the experience of reading go on as long as possible.

I was just thinking...if the Order of the Phoenix is a secret organisation, why is there a group photograph of them all out for a beer (or five) for Harry to angst over?  Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a secret organisation?
